Our Story

Yabba’s wasn’t built to follow a script.
It was built to make room—for joy, curiosity, and people who refuse to outgrow either.

A Letter From Yabba

Hi. I’m Yabba.
Yes, I’m a real person. My given name is Kristi, but Yabba is the name that stuck—the one that followed me through sports, creativity, and every space where I felt most myself.

I was raised in Gulf Shores, Alabama, surrounded by entrepreneurship, creativity, and strong personalities. I learned early what it looks like to build something that lasts—and just as importantly, what it can cost.

For a long time, it felt like my path had already been written. But eventually, I realized that honoring where you come from doesn’t mean disappearing inside it.

Yabba’s Wacky Snack Shack became my way of choosing joy deliberately. A place where humor is welcomed, creativity is encouraged, and no one has to earn the right to enjoy themselves. It’s where my analytical side and my playful side finally stopped competing—and started collaborating.

Today, Yabba’s isn’t about legacy.
It’s about presence.

It’s about creating experiences that feel light, inclusive, and human—especially in a world that so often asks us to be smaller, quieter, or more serious than we really are.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for choosing joy with us.

What We Believe

~Joy shouldn’t have an age limit.

~Humor is a form of connection.

~A little rebellion–when it’s kind and intentional–makes life sweeter.

Yabba’s exists to give people a place to drop the performance, soften their shoulders, and remember what it feels like to just enjoy being here.

Come As You Are

Whether you’re celebrating, resetting, or just passing through—there’s room for you here. That’s the whole point.
